Reinforcement steel fixer • Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Part-time with flexible hours.
