Sewing machine operator wanted in Fune

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Fune, Yobe State. Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
