Turning centre operator wanted in Pike County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Pike County, Kentucky. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. On the job you will handle: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
