Cold room technician — Southend-on-Sea

Join our team: we are hiring a cold room technician in Southend-on-Sea, England. You will be based at a food processing plant. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Day to day you will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution.
