Fabrication workshop technician • Jefferson County, Oregon

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Jefferson County, Oregon. You will be based on a window-and-door production line. Day-to-day duties: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter Requirements: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
