What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle.
