Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Somerset, England. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On a typical shift you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. Rotating shifts. £2,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
