We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Haines Borough, Alaska. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day to day you will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
