Elevator service technician wanted in Potter County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Potter County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a residential tower block. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
