Concrete pump mate • Vilas County, Wisconsin

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Vilas County, Wisconsin. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. On the job you will handle: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
