Argon welding operator • Lee County, South Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Lee County, South Carolina. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Six days a week, one day off.
