We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Lake County, Illinois. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight.
