UPVC window fitter • Chicot County, Arkansas

Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Chicot County, Arkansas. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Your main tasks: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile Requirements: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
