Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Campbell County, Wyoming. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
