Sheet metal welder — Akoko North West

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Akoko North West, Ondo State. You will work on a structural steel site. You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
