Immediate opening: we are hiring a container truck driver in Umuahia North, Abia State. The job is at a container freight yard. On the job you will handle: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Ideal candidate: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
