Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Platte County, Wyoming. Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
