Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Scott County, Illinois. You will work at a supermarket cold-chain site. You will read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; service split AC units and VRF systems; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
