What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
