Lorry driver • Iron County, Michigan

Join our team: we are hiring a lorry driver in Iron County, Michigan. You will be based at a haulage company. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing Requirements: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid digital tachograph card • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
