Now hiring: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Amherst County, Virginia. You will work in a public park. Your main tasks: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules 5+ years on the tools preferred.
