Fabricator-welder — Cleveland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Cleveland County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
