Industrial sewing operator wanted in Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Union County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Your main tasks: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Rotating shifts.
