Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Lincoln County, Maine. You will be based in a bread factory. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Basic cake decorating and piping skills The role involves keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; score the top of loaves before baking; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
