Now hiring: we are hiring a tile setter in Laurel County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy tiling site. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Day to day you will grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
