Urgent requirement: we are hiring an auto painter in Houghton County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE On a typical shift you will prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
