Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Baldwin County, Alabama. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing 2+ years on the tools preferred.
