Great opportunity: finish carpenter (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Jefferson County, Kentucky. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Day-to-day duties: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
