Now hiring: we are hiring a deboner in Carteret County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry On the job you will handle: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Season and marinate meat on request • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
