Site safety steward wanted in Shelby County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Shelby County, Texas. You will work at a manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
