Sand plant operator wanted in Buffalo County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Buffalo County, Nebraska. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off.
