Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Unicoi County, Tennessee. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Day-to-day duties: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Six days a week, one day off. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
