Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Awareness of workshop health and safety The role involves log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
