Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Unicoi County, Tennessee. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp 3+ years on the tools preferred.
