Gas commissioning technician • Iosco County, Michigan

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Iosco County, Michigan. The job is in a gas distribution network. Day-to-day duties: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites • Able to read isometric and site drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
