TIG welder wanted in Pecos County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Pecos County, Texas. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
