Heavy goods vehicle driver • Ori Ire, Oyo State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Ori Ire, Oyo State. You will work at a busy distribution depot. You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements You will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₦14,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
