Immediate opening: rough terrain crane operator (Indiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Shelby County, Indiana. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. You will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
