Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift technician in Nassau County, New York. The job is in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Part-time with flexible hours.
