Fire and safety officer • Nemaha County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Nemaha County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
