Steel fixer — Bosque County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Bosque County, Texas. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On the job you will handle: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
