Finishing presser wanted in Dearborn County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Dearborn County, Indiana. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Your main tasks: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
