Garment machinist — DeKalb County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in DeKalb County, Indiana. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
