Pipe tig welder wanted in Conecuh County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Conecuh County, Alabama. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Full-time, day shift.
