Immediate opening: we are hiring a counterbalance forklift operator in Ingham County, Michigan. You will be based in a cold storage facility. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis • Accurate, careful stock handling On a typical shift you will carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics; sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris; shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch; read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit; top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
