Join our team: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Douglas County, Illinois. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and specifications The role involves: • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
