Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in LaGrange County, Indiana. The role involves: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
