Rebar installer • Breathitt County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Breathitt County, Kentucky. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On the job you will handle: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
