Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, Lagos State. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
