Plant operator • Giles County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Giles County, Virginia. You will work on a busy civils and groundworks site. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
